Animal Handling Sessions
Our animal handling sessions are one of the most popular experiences at Yeatheridge Farm. Guests staying with us can enjoy getting up close with a variety of friendly farm animals, making this a memorable part of any family holiday.
Meet the Animals
At Yeatheridge Farm, we are lucky enough to have a range of animals which we love sharing with our guests. Visit the Old Stable Yard and enjoy opportunities to interact with many of our animals, including:
- Cuddling guinea pigs and rabbits
- Collecting freshly laid eggs from our chickens
- Feeding our pet pigs
- Meeting our renowned cheeky goats
Throughout the season, we may also welcome new arrivals, including baby lambs, calves and chicks. Guests may have the opportunity to help bottle-feed young animals and get involved in their care.
Please be aware, if you are pregnant (or you think you are pregnant), please do not touch or feed the lambs or come into contact or touch any of the animals.
Outdoor Paddocks
Our outdoor paddocks provide another way to enjoy the animals during your stay. Here, you can hand-feed some of our larger animals and spend even more time getting to know them.
A Real Working Farm Experience
As a working farm, we’re passionate about sharing our love of farming and animal care with guests of all ages. We love seeing children and adults getting involved and their are often opportunities to help with small jobs around the Old Stable Yard.
