Our friendly chickens bring plenty of life and character to Yeatheridge Farm Caravan Park. They are regular talking point among guests and are always entertaining to watch as tehy walk around their barn.
Farm Fresh Eggs
We have many chickens here at Yeatheridge. Some have been hatched here over the last couple of years, but the majority have been rehomed through the British Hen Welfare Trust.
These rehomed chickens have come from Chicken farms and are said to be at the end of their egg laying life (approx 18 months old). However our happy hens continue to provide lovely fresh eggs for us – which if interested you can purchase from the front of reception ‘Oscar’s eggs’.
They all love attention and will follow you down through the paddock path!
At certain times in the year we will have chicks hatch up at the stables for you all to hold and see!
