The historic ‘Clapper Bridge’ is one of the longest and oldest in the world- dating back thousands of years. Thousands flock to this ancient bridge each year and is a must see part when visiting Exmoor. The bridge is the starting point of circular walks that are rich with wildlife and there are many opportunities to dip your feet int he river or further upstream take part in some wild swimming. Afterwards come back to the steps and enjoy the Countryside pub serving delicious homemade food, drinks and a great Cream Tea!
